Description[]
A fiery soul jammed into a menacingly carved pumpkin, sitting atop a makeshift body with wooden limbs and cloven hooves all tied together with rope. Jack can change his look with a Merchant, in exchange for Crow Skulls.
Story[]
After earning his "Legend" status by tricking The Devil multiple times, he was cursed to wander the world as a wayward spirit.
He is employed as the Pariah of the Devil in response to the Humans summoning their own Champion, Jack is charged with a simple mission, to get rid of the Wizard and doom the world, in exchange for leaving Hell with The Devil's good graces. He is joined by a trusty Owl companion to help guide his way through the harsh landscapes they come across.
Jack will meet many colourful characters along the way, not caring for any of them and coldly using them to complete his mission. He is very easily angered, especially when he has to do fetch quests and favours, getting angrier as his quest progresses.
Jack's Arsenal[]
Jack has many tricks up his sleeve, just like before. Jack is smart and clever, but so is the Wizard. He must learn to use what he can to get through every trial the loathsome little gremlin puts in his way.
Head spinning.[]
- Jack can pop off his head in certain areas and slink around to open locked doors from behind, or clear a blocked tunnel from the inside. Jack can do many things while in this form, he can jump, dash and spin quickly to attack or push things around.
Corvid command.[]
- Jack gains a carrion ally very early on in his journey, he can command the Crow to knock over things in his way, attack enemies that are being a nuisance or create bridges. This avian companion is one of Jack's most useful weapons against the Wizard, no matter how much he tries to stop him. Jack despises it's company however, but is told by an Agent of Hell that his usefulness should be acknowledged.
A plethora of weapons.[]
- Jack can wield many weapons, first acquiring a Shovel in the Fields, he will come across many weapons on his mission, most obtained from defeating powerful enemies. Jack is quite skilled in combat and can fight in many different ways by either fighting head-on or crashing down from the air, attacking after dodging or after jumping.
License to drive.[]
- Jack will find many interesting ways to travel, from a Mine Cart to portals, all controlling very differently. Surely, he can figure these as easily as everything else. In each of these vehicular encounters, Jack must command his Crow companion to clear the way as there's usually something blocking the path.
